Bug bomb your house (w/o the dog in it!).

Flea shampoo only kills live fleas, so unless they are crawling around on your head it would be pointless.
Would Dog Shampoo especially for Fleas be harsher that just normal shampoo for humans... check this out.....so you have to consider it.. all the best ....mark

Canine Flea Shampoo - Most shampoo products contain dog flea medicine that helps to kill fleas on your dog. The problem is that they do not prevent the fleas from coming back after the bath. Also is you don't bathe the dog correctly, the fleas will jump from the part you are washing to other parts of the dog. To avoid this problem, soap your dog from the head going back. Use a flea comb through the hair, frequently dunking the comb under water to kill the fleas as you go. Once the foam is all over your dog, let it soak in for approximately 15 minutes before washing your pet off.
Yes, it's fine.
They bite you, but they do not stay on you.

I don't think it's a good idea to use the same shampoo.

I do think that you should clean your house/apartment very thoroughly and wash blankets etc where your dog have been sleeping. Spray your carpets, couch and such with anti flea spray.

And just use your regular shampoo. Dog fleas can not survive on humans.
Go ahead and try it....let us know how it goes.
No hun you need to clean your house and treat the yard, house, dog's bedding and dog all at the same time to get rid of the fleas! DO NOT use that shampoo on yourself, I broke out all over, taking a shower after treating a dog of mine and just had residue shampoo on my hands!
It depends on what kind, but you can probably use it on your head.
